How it Works

A simple plan before the cameras start rolling

The biggest risk with a guest-filmed wedding isn’t technical—it’s assuming someone else is covering the moment. We help you assign the cannot-redo shots to named guests, then keep everything else loose enough to feel natural.

1. Plan the important moments
We talk through your day and what matters most to you: getting ready, first looks, ceremony, vows, speeches, first dance and the dance-floor mayhem. Together, we decide what needs deliberate coverage and what can stay spontaneous.

2. Receive your kit
Your Candid Camera Co. box arrives 4–6 days before the wedding. Inside are two ready-to-film handycams, charged batteries and spares, SD cards, chargers, microphones, quick-start instructions and guest prompt cards.

3. Learn the cameras and microphones
We show you how to use the gear before the day. The controls are simple, the cameras include QR access to the tutorial, and you can record a quick test clip so everyone feels comfortable.

4. Assign your crew
Put one name beside every cannot-redo moment. We help you choose reliable guests for the vows, first kiss, speeches and other priorities, while the second camera stays free to catch reactions and candid moments.

5. Capture the wedding
Pass the cameras around like party favours. Keep clips intentional, count to ten before stopping, avoid heavy zoom and let people react naturally. The prompt cards give guests ideas when they want them, without scripting the day.

6. Send everything back
After the wedding, pack the kit into the same box, attach the prepaid return label and drop it at the nominated courier location within 72 hours.

7. We edit and deliver your film
We back up and organise every clip, clean the audio, add licensed music and shape the footage into the package you chose.
